Where I drool over history and politics →
I find this fascinating, that America has no native “passive princesses and graceful ballerinas,” but what do we have? Cowgirls. A woman gun-slinger? Totally American. Rapunzel? Hell, no. So, more women politicians come from western states, a more conservative part of the country, and therefore kind of odd to find women challenging men - AND WINNING. What’s up with that?

sexymindsreadbooks: Jan. 11, 2011:  Scientists using NASA’s Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope have detected beams of antimatter produced above thunderstorms on Earth, a phenomenon never seen before. Scientists think the antimatter particles were formed inside thunderstorms in a terrestrial gamma-ray flash (TGF) associated with lightning. It is estimated that about 500 TGFs occur daily...
