When you look up at the stars in the sky, you are seeing the stars as they were hundreds of years ago. You look up, and see the past. Look back down, and think of what was happening fifty or a thousand years ago in the very place you now stand. You can see the past down here too, but perhaps not as clearly as the stars can show. Humans have a difficult time looking up to realize this, likely because we find it terrifying. But I find it to be a mind-blowing sense of interconnecedness, and you have hit the nail on the head. Well done, sir. VERY well done. I can’t wait to read more of this book of yours!
